Program
The
certification program offered by the Strategyn Institute arms innovation
champions with the resources they need to lead important growth initiatives
within their organization. They receive the same education that is usually
reserved for Strategyn consultants.
Upon completing
this program, an innovation champion is equipped to:

Lead innovation
initiatives aimed at core market growth, new
market creation and disruptive innovation. |

Capture
the customer’s true inputs to innovation, e.g., jobs
and outcomes, and dispel the myth of “latent and
unarticulated” needs. |

|
Identify
where a market is over and underserved and
prioritize opportunities for value creation and
disruption. |
| |
|
Discover
segments of opportunity. |
| |
|
Lead
positioning and messaging initiatives within the
firm. |
| |
|
Lead
pipeline prioritization and ideation initiatives
within the firm. |
| |
|
Assist
the company in the formulation of market and product
strategies. |
| |
|
Ensure
breakthrough ideas make there way into the company’s
product development process. |
The program requires the innovation champion
to complete the 5-day education program and to license Strategyn’s IP and tool
set. The license package includes rights to Strategyn's patented innovation
process, web-based data analysis and reporting tool, and the 100-plus tools and
templates housed on Strategyn’s web-portal. With these resources in hand, and
“provisional certification” achieved, the innovation champion is ready to lead
important innovation initiatives within the firm.
As the company initiatives begin, innovation
champions often require assistance with project framing, outcome netting,
questionnaire development and other facets of the project. Prior to the
Institute, the only option available for launching Outcome-Driven Innovation®
initiatives was for an organization to contract Strategyn to conduct the project
from start to finish, with the client’s in-house innovation experts gleaning
information and skills they could along the way. While Strategyn continues to
run innovation initiatives for its clientele, we are pleased to offer
Mentoring and other support programs to ensure the Institute graduate’s
success. The Mentoring program will give the innovation champion direct access
to an experienced Strategyn consultant for assistance throughout the project.
They may acquire this support for any number of projects - until the champion is
experienced and self sufficient.
One year after the education program is
completed and/or after a minimum of 3 successfully executed projects, the
innovation champion is ready to complete practitioner certification testing.
Upon passing this test, the innovation champion receives certification
documentation - and official “practitioner certification”. A “mastery
certification” status is also possible after 2 years of practice.
